Huddle Goals · v3.1

Meetings
that have a point.

Short, structured games for Zoom and Teams, designed by facilitators, not gamified by accident.

Huddle Goals turns the dead air at the start of a meeting into something with shape. Forty-eight purpose-built games, ice-breakers, retrospectives, decision sprints, post-mortems, each timed, scored and tied to a meeting outcome. Distributed-team-grade by default; runs in 8 minutes; no app install for participants.

Overview

Games with a job.

Most “virtual ice-breakers” are awkward filler. Huddle Goals is a small library of games that each do one thing well, warm a room, sharpen a decision, surface a risk, close a project, and then end on time.

For facilitators

Pick by outcome.

Browse by what the meeting needs, alignment, divergence, decision, debrief, repair, not by mechanic. Every game has a stated goal, a tested duration, and a template for what to do with what came out of it.

For teams

No app install.

Participants click a link. The game runs in their existing Zoom, Teams, Slack or web tab. Camera, mic, votes, drawings and chat all flow through the platform you’re already in, nothing to download, nothing to admin-approve.

For programs

An artefact at the end.

Every huddle produces a written summary, decisions, dissent, outstanding questions, action owners, ready to drop into Notion, Confluence, Linear, Jira. The point of the meeting survives the meeting ending.

The interface

Three views of one huddle.

A nine-person product team running a sprint retrospective, in the meeting, in the library that picked it, and in the facilitator’s plan.

Capabilities

Capabilities.

Nine capabilities across the library, platform integrations and artefact pipeline.

01 · Library

48 purpose-built games

Ice-breakers, retros, decision sprints, debriefs, post-mortems, repair conversations. Each tagged by outcome, duration, group size.

02 · Timed

Eight minutes by default

Every game has a tested duration. Visible countdown for everyone. The facilitator can extend or skip; the timer keeps the meeting honest.

03 · Native

Zoom, Teams, Slack, Discord

Native apps for Zoom and Teams. Slack & Discord bots. Web fallback for any participant without an account or org install.

04 · Anonymous

Voting & dissent kept private

Suggestions and votes are anonymous by default. Dissent is captured and surfaced, not flattened, in the meeting artefact.

05 · Artefact

Markdown summary at end

Every huddle outputs decisions, dissent, owners, commitments. Pushed to Notion, Confluence, Linear, Jira, Slack DM, or copied to clipboard.

06 · Plan

Run-of-show editor

Stitch 2–5 games into a 30-minute meeting. Drag-reorder; the timer adjusts live. Save plans as templates for the team.

07 · Custom

Custom prompt mode

Have your own prompt? Pick a mechanic (dot-vote, free-text, ranked, sticky-cluster) and drop your prompt in. Same artefact pipeline.

08 · Async

Async huddle mode

For distributed teams across timezones. Same prompts, 24-hour window, same artefact at close.

09 · Privacy

Aggregate-only by default

Individual responses anonymised in the artefact. SOC 2 Type II; data residency options for Australia, EU and UK.

Workflow

Add to a meeting in under a minute.

How a facilitator goes from a calendar invite to a structured 30-minute retro with an artefact at the end.

  1. 01 · Pick

    Pick by outcome.

Browse the library by what the meeting needs, retro, decision, debrief, repair. Filter by duration and group size.

  2. 02 · Plan

    Stitch a run-of-show.

Drag 2–5 games into a sequence. Timer auto-adjusts; total is visible to everyone. Save as a template.

  3. 03 · Invite

    Drop the link.

One link in the calendar invite. Native Zoom/Teams launches in-app; everyone else lands on web. No install.

  4. 04 · Run

    Facilitate or autopilot.

Facilitator drives, or autopilot mode keeps time and prompts the room. Either way the meeting ends on time.

  5. 05 · Ship

    Push the artefact.

Markdown debrief auto-routed to Notion, Confluence, Linear, Jira or Slack. The decision survives the call.
