A working thing
by Friday.
Your team ships a real prototype, with our engineers building alongside them rather than for them. The point is not the artefact, it is that your people can keep going after we leave.
What the work involves.
Three stages. We will tell you at any point if we think the engagement is not worth continuing.
-
Framing
Each team names one question their prototype has to answer. Narrow beats ambitious, and we will push you to cut scope.
-
Building
Our engineers work alongside yours. When someone is stuck for more than five minutes they raise a hand and help comes to them.
-
Testing
Teams swap prototypes and leave written feedback. The gallery and the feedback go with you.
“We had argued about this feature for two months. We built it in a day and the argument answered itself.”
When to call us.
If your situation is not here, ask anyway. We would rather say no early than take work we cannot do well.
- Proving an idea before committing budget
- Teams that have never shipped together
- Turning a research finding into something usable
- Upskilling while producing something real
Significant discounts, and gratis for some.
Not-for-profits, charities, community organisations, purpose-driven bodies and education partners pay substantially less than the rates above. Community and grassroots groups are frequently charged nothing at all. Commercial engagements fund that work, which is the whole model.
